Didn't Quite Scratch That Track-Day Itch?
Apparently one track day wasn't enough.
For anyone who came away from our last track event thinking, "I need to do that again," we're heading back out—this time to Sonoma Raceway with SpeedSF.
A few V-Club members are already registered for the Saturday, October 31 full-track event, and we're opening this up as an informal meetup for anyone else who wants to join us.
Each driver will need register directly with SpeedSF, select the appropriate run group for their experience level, and be responsible for meeting SpeedSF's vehicle, equipment, and driver requirements.
The V-Club part?
We'll have some familiar faces in the paddock, garage space to hang out between sessions, and plans for dinner together after the track goes quiet.
And yes, it’s Halloween! No tricks—just track time. Costumes may not be track-approved, but bringing a little Halloween spirit to the paddock is definitely encouraged. Who knows... we may even have a few treats waiting in the V-Club garage.

SpeedSF – Sonoma Raceway Full Track
Saturday, October 31 Sonoma Raceway 103 dB sound limit
SpeedSF welcomes drivers at different experience levels and assigns appropriate run groups. The event format currently includes a 15-minute warm-up session followed by four 20-minute track sessions.
One of our members is currently registered in the Mixed Group — Point-By Recommended, Not Required.
That does not mean everyone should select that group. Choose the SpeedSF run group appropriate for your own experience.
SpeedSF Sonoma Raceway Registration
Register Early
SpeedSF currently lists the early-bird full-track price at $400/day. The early-bird pricing ends three weeks before the event or at 60% capacity, whichever comes first.
If you're interested, I wouldn't wait until the last minute—track-day run groups can fill.
MotorsportReg is currently offering a $37.50 event cancellation guarantee during registration. Which means if you need to cancel your track day it will only put you out $37.50 instead of $400. What a bargin!
SpeedSF currently requires:

Drivers and passengers to be at least 18

M2020+ or SA2020+ helmet

Tow hook or another suitable tow point

Compliance with the 103 dB sound limit

Rollover protection for convertibles
There are additional requirements for convertibles, so check the complete SpeedSF requirements before registering.
V-Club Garage
Phil has reserved a garage, so we will have a home base during the day and a space for members to fix their car if needed.
Bring a backpack, tools, helmet, snacks, extra gear—whatever you don't want sitting in the car between sessions.
We'll share the garage location with everyone attending once it's assigned.
Making a Weekend Out of It
Some of us aren't rushing home after the last session.

Friday, October 30 — Check-In Sunday, November 1 — Check-Out
Hotel reservations are individual and optional; there is not currently a V-Club room block.

Depending on interest we are opening to having a informal dinner after a full day at Sonoma.

You don't have to stay overnight to join us for dinner.
And if you're not driving but want to come hang out with the group, we'll provide more information once our paddock/garage plans are finalized.
V-Club RSVP
Registering with the V-Club does NOT register you for the SpeedSF track day.
If you're driving, you must register separately through MotorsportReg.
Please RSVP with the V-Club too so we know:
