All Cadillac V-Club members are invited to join our next Zoom web conference for an online meeting with Wayne Yount, OE Product Category Manager at Michelin.

The goal is discuss the Michelin tire products for the CT4-V & CT5-V Blackwing offerings, potential new offers, other V-Series offers, Q&A and the development process.

Michelin today provides specifically tuned Michelin Pilot Super Sport 4S tires as the exclusive fitment for the current generation Cadillac V-Series Blackwing. Working closely with the Cadillac V-Series Blackwing team and drawing upon its innovative technologies and experience in endurance racing, Michelin engineers developed specially constructed MICHELIN Pilot Super Sport 4S tires that significantly enhance the world-class sports-car technology and performance offered by Cadillac V-Series.  The high-performance summer tire features a multi-compound tread composition. In fact, each tire features three rubber compounds. The predominant one is known as “R compound” and is a high-performance material covering the majority of the tread.
They are TPC [Tire Performance Criteria] spec, which means they are uniquely built for our V-Series Blackwing cars. So when you go buy them on Tire Rack or anywhere else, it will say TPC, which means they were made for our cars.

What the TPC spec impacts is “the stiffness of the tire and the characteristics of the rubber.  The Cadillac team went through various submissions of tires to make sure that the steering, the wet performance, and the dry performance was ideal and picked a specific spec.

RSVP registration via CadillacVClub.com is mandatory to confirm your attendance and receive access to the ZOOM credentials necessary to participate in the meeting.  You will need to install the ZOOM app on either your mobile or desktop device in order to participate.  The meeting will begin promptly on August 31 at 5:00PM PDT, 7:00PM CDT and 8:00PM EDT

Michelin values your feedback.  This is your opportunity to interact with key Michelin team members regarding the performance features of your vehicle and provide direct feedback on your personal ownership experience.

You will not want to miss out on this unique opportunity to collaborate and share first hand experiences with Michelin representatives.  This will be an informal discussion, question and answer session with no specific agenda other than to "inform" and "be informed".

This meeting will be moderated by Gene Hawks, the Cadillac V-Club President.  Due to ZOOM attendee limitations, this event is restricted to only members of the Cadillac V-Club and to the first 300 members who RSVP to attend.

If you have a family membership or are a sponsor of the V-Club, please RSVP register only once to participate via ZOOM.
