Mt. Rainier is one of the most spectacular geographic features in the United States, perhaps the world and it is in our backyard. Let's roll up hill in our V's on Saturday September 16, 2023 to make this our Q3 Meet and Greet Cruise! When you see Mt. Rainier from sea level, all 14,000 feet are visible (on clear days, of course). Conversely, some of you may know that if you travel to the Sierras and Rockies, many smaller mountains are in the way and you must climb elevation for hours to get the views, and the relief is much less. And after rising up Mt. Rainier, the look back down below is… unforgettable.

Guests are welcome to attend for a nominal guest fee due at the time you submit your RSVP registration form. Members with a family membership are not required to pay a guest fee for their immediate family. RSVP registration is required to attend this event. Prospective members of the V-Club are encouraged to join us to meet our local members and learn more about our organization.

Your lunch will be provided compliments of the Cadillac V-Club.

First rendezvous is 8am at Krispy Kreme in Tacoma, 4302 Tacoma Mall Blvd, Tacoma, WA 98409. After a 2-hour drive we'll arrive at Paradise, have a time to walk about, then lunch in the Lodge restaurant. We may also try a rendezvous with Portland members in Elbe at a location to be determined. After arriving, there will be lots to see and do.

Some will return home that afternoon, together or independently. Some will relax or hike around, and stay overnight at Paradise Lodge, to enjoy the wood beams and warm fire, maybe attend a lecture/slide show from a park ranger. And if the sky is clear we'll gaze up at a starry-filled Milky Way. Come morning, we'll have breakfast and drive back, perhaps on a different route.

If you want to join us overnight, you must book ASAP. I just checked today (4/23) and a few rooms are available. Call 360-569-2275 or book lodging here:
