ABOUT KURT DECKER

Kurt is a Cadillac V-Club member and is chemical engineer by day and Speed Shop mechanic by night where he owned and operated LSX Performance in Victoria, Texas. He enjoyed both jobs, but his need for speed shone through. He is the record holder at the Texas Mile for the Cadillac CTS-V car, with a stock blower, that he built himself. Kurt does not know a stranger, and is always willing to help lend a hand. On Easter Sunday, Kurt heard something from his shop apartment and when he opened the door, it was in flames and the backdraft engulfed him.  Kurt attempted to battle the fire but was unable to do so and was severely injured.

He has been through a tough few months trying to rehab his body that not only suffered burns, but a pulmonary embolism. Kurt has recently come to the realization that he not only lost his business, home, and belongings but also all of his cars, tools and equipment as well.

Kurt's insurance policy dropped a significant portion of coverage and he has limited funds to rebuild. We all know that he would be the first one to help out anyone and we want to show him how much he means to all of us. Please consider attending this event in person but if not a donation will be well received and much appreciated by Kurt and his family. Click here to submit a donation.
