  • Plan to attend as either a competitor or spectator. I acknowledge as a competitor that I am required to register and pay my entry fee at Texas Motorplex for each class I am competing in at this event. There is also a spectator fee that will be collected at the gate.

Street Car Takeover is doing a last minute event in the Dallas area right before winter hits! They will be at the Fort Worth Twin Peaks on Friday November 17 for a dyno night and then Texas Motorplex on Saturday November 18.

Texas Motorplex is also hosting a Ford car show at the track that day.

Saturday November 18
SCT will accept registration and entry fee payment for each class at Texas Motorplex on Saturday:
-Drag Racing 11 classes
-Roll Racing 3 classes

-Drag racing, roll racing and car show
-Gates open at 10am for racers and show
-Gates open at 11am for spectators
-$20 for single spectator ticket at the gate, kids 12 and under are FREE.
-$45 single day racer (classes are extra)
-$25 car show (includes one spectator ticket)

Drag Racing classes:
-Street Racer (1/4 mile, heads up, street cars only)
-Small Tire (1/8th mile, no time, 28x10.5/275 radials or smaller)
-Street Outlaw (1/8th mile, no time, must be a door car)
-Monster Clutches Stick Shift class (1/4 mile, heads up, street car, must be H pattern clutch shifted trans and must drive to and from the lanes under its own power)
-Street Truck (1/4 mile, heads up, open to trucks and SUV's)
-Street Bike (1/4 mile, et bracket)
-LSX VS MOD (1/4 mile, heads up, must be a factory produced block, LSX bowtie, Ford Motorsports blocks OK)
-FWD (1/4 mile, heads up)
-Extreme Street 10.00 index (1/4 mile, index)
-Daily Driver 11.00 index (1/4 mile, index)
-Daily Driver Mild 12.00 index (1/4 mile, index)

All classes are .400 pro tree

Roll Racing classes:
-King of the Bakery (any street car ok to enter)
-RWD (any RWD vehicle, no pro-mods)
-FWD (any FWD vehicle, must be street car)

All rolls start from 40mph

Payouts for classes:
-Small Tire $3,000 with min 16 cars 80/20 split
-Street Racer $3,000 with min 16 cars 80/20 split
-Street Outlaw $1,500 with min 6 cars 80/20 split
-Monster Clutches Stick Shift class $500 extra to winner
-All other classes have 100% payout with buy in money 80/20 split with winner and runner up.

Schedule for racing Saturday November 18th
-12:00pm Roll racers drivers meeting at starting line
-12:15 track goes hot for roll testing
-1:30pm eliminations (test n tune rolls between rounds)
-3:30pm roll racing ends
-4:00pm Drag racers drivers meeting at SCT trailer
-4:15pm Drag race testing
-4:30pm Street racer class cruise
-6:30pm Eliminations (test n tune between rounds)
-10:00pm racing ends unless elimination classes are still going.
