It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I officially share the news of the passing of a member of our Executive leadership team and friend, James Hughes, who passed away on Saturday morning, June 6.   

James was diagnosed with a serious medical condition late in 2025. To focus on his health and treatment James resigned as President in January but asked to continue serving as a member of our Advisory Council and Board of Directors.  Unfortunately, his health continued to rapidly deteriorate and during the week of June 1 James returned to the hospital where I was fortunate to visit with him one final time before he passed away.  This news is incredibly hard to process but I know James had faith, trusted his Lord and Savior and he is now free of pain and suffering.

A valuable and passionate member the Cadillac V-Club, James volunteered and was appointed as President in April of 2025.  He was an integral part of our team and in just a few short months his contributions and dedication proved to be a difference maker.  James brought kindness, energy and compassion to our team every day. He will be deeply missed by all of us.

• Memorial Services: A service will be held at 11:00AM on June 27, 2026 at Milestone Church in McKinney, Texas where he was actively involved as a bible study leader. The address is 601 Graves Street.
• Condolences & Expressions of Sympathy: The Cadillac V-Club will send flowers or make a donation to a charity as directed by his family. In accordance with James' wishes, his body has been cremated.
