ABOUT LOST LAGOON The Lost Lagoon is a luxury campground with the world's largest RV Resort swimming pool, a Wibit water course and over 200 concrete RV sites with free wifi for all sites. Their luxury amenities offer a family-friendly environment with an on-site cafe, full bar and golf cart rentals. Before the Lost Lagoon became the Lost Lagoon, it was once a residential home with the worlds largest residential pool, and was even featured on HGTV (check out the video HERE)! Consisting of two homes, a pool and a large barn, the rest of the property was ranch land for livestock (see photo to the left). In 2017, the owners decided to sell and that is when the El Campo Lost Lagoon dream was born. Stephen and Kenna purchased the property and spent 18 months redesigning the entire property to their specific vision.
Friday, May 10 - Sunday, May 12
You must RSVP register to receive email notification to purchase the discounted ticket packages. Space is limited and only a few ticket packages are available. Cadillac V-Club members will be provided early access to purchase tickets prior to general availability.
All Cadillac V-Club members are invited to join our first Zoom web conference for an online meeting with Clifford Salvesen, Motorsports Technical Advisor for North America at ExxonMobil.
ExxonMobil has now received the official General Motors endorsement for Mobil 1 Supercar 0W-40 as the recommended oil for all Cadillac V-Series going back to 2003/4 (inception) with the exception of the twin turbo V6 engine. This endorsement was announced at the recent Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta and Clifford will be reviewing this endorsement during this Mobil 1 Tech Talk.
At this time, General Motors is not willing to publish a recommendation for Mobil 1 Supercar 0W-40 for the twin turbo V6 engines without further testing since GM is required to verify that any recommendation meets all fuel economy and emission requirements and there is no testing on record to verify this for Mobil 1 Supercar 0W-40 oil for the twin turbo V6 engine. Therefore, the LF4 engines in the ATS-V and CT4-Blackwing are impacted by this exception. All Cadillac V-Series twin turbo V6 engine owners should refer to their owner’s manual for the OEM recommendation for both oil and filter.
RSVP registration via CadillacVClub.com is mandatory to confirm your attendance and receive access to the ZOOM credentials necessary to participate in the meeting. You will need to install the ZOOM app on either your mobile or desktop device in order to participate. The meeting will begin promptly on May 16 at 5:00PM PST, 7:00PM CST and 8:00PM EST. Mobil 1 values your feedback. This is your opportunity to interact with key Mobil 1 team members regarding the performance features of your vehicle and provide direct feedback on your personal ownership experience. This meeting will be moderated by Gene Hawks, the Cadillac V-Club President. Due to ZOOM attendee limitations, this event is restricted to only members of the Cadillac V-Club and to the first 100 members who RSVP to attend. If you have a family membership or are a sponsor of the V-Club, please RSVP register only once to participate via ZOOM.
Holley LS Fest is invading Texas Motor Speedway!
The Cadillac V-Club is headed to Fort Worth, Texas May 17-18 for Holley’s next installment of their popular LS Fest series known as Holley LS Fest Texas! This is the 3rd year the event has been held inside the Texas Motor Speedway and will feature all the popular automotive mayhem that LS Fests are known for including drifting, drag racing, burn out contests, show-n-shine, autocross, a dyno and more! Each LS Fest takes on a life of its own and Texas will be the nightlife as the event will start late and end late to beat the Texas heat. Most event segments will continue after dark including drifting, burn out contest, autocross and drag racing. LS Fest Texas drag racing will take place on pit road at the famed Texas Motor Speedway and will be a true no-prep style 1/8th mile drag race, which is sure to fit the nighttime vibe. Water misters will be around the facility during daylight hours so you can stay cool and work on your Texas tan!
Mark your calendar and head on over to LSFest.com/texas to learn more about LS Fest Texas. There are multiple RSVP registration options available for Cadillac V-Club members. The Cadillac V-Club is not hosting or sponsoring this event but we would like to know if you plan to attend. If you RSVP register, we will inform you via email when the bulk of our members plan to arrive. All vehicles that are members of the "LS and LT" variant engine families are invited to participate in this event. All LF4 and LFA "V6" GM engines are excluded from registering for any of the competitive events which includes the Car show. This is a "V8" engine exclusive event. Car Show Participant - $85 includes two general admission spectator tickets plus parking in the reserved area in pit row on both Friday and Saturday. You can choose to come and go as desired and attend one day or both days. Must register and submit payment to Holley LS Fest before May 11 otherwise entry fee will increase to $110. This is a great deal because not only do you receive two $25 spectator tickets, you get to park inside pit row in the reserved parking area for car show participants. If you need more than 1 "guest" ticket then you will have to purchase additional Spectator tickets unless your guest is 16-under.
Spectator Only Participant - General admission fee of $25 per day and you are required to park outside in the public parking area which is not "secure". You must RSVP register via LSFest/Texas.com to receive your spectator tickets via email. Children 16 under receive free admission.
If you require lodging, click here for a list of hotels and discounted rates. CAR SHOW INFO

All Car Show participants are granted premiere event parking inside the venue. Every LS Fest Competitor Event Registration automatically includes a Car Show spot (Drag Racing, Autocross, Drift, etc.). Entry in the car show ensures your vehicle is parked safe and secure inside the pit area instead of outside the venue in the public parking area.
Each car show participant receives a numbered decal to display on the vehicle. You must attend the Car Show Awards to find out if you are a winner of the car show class you entered! You do not need to be present at the time your car is reviewed but of course your car must be on display. The awards ceremony is optional.

ABOUT RIDGE MOTORSPORTS PARK Development of the 170 acre site began in earnest in 2009. Asphalt for the road course was laid in November 2011. 2012 was the first full season of operations, with a fully booked calendar of events including car club lapping days, driver training schools and sanctioned auto and motorcycle races along with other bookings. The road circuit was penned by Steve Crawford, designer of Thunderhill Raceway Park and is 40 feet wide, 2.47 miles in length, with 16 turns, and has over 300 feet of elevation gain and loss per lap, including the 50 foot plunge down the Ridge Complex. Each lap of the Ridge Motorsports Park road circuit thrills with high speed straights and sweeper turns, huge compressions and blind weightless crests, challenging esses, a long carousel turn where you walk the tightrope between speed and grip, a double apex turn leading to another valley and cresting turn leading into a heavy braking zone, a short sprint between tight turns and finally a breathtaking plunge down the ridge into a technically difficult sequence of turns, before going hammer down on the front straight again! All of this in a park-like forest setting, with stunning territorial and mountain views.
Griot's Garage will demo a foaming device that allows you to clean your car without a hose, and in a way that carefully prevents you from leaving any scratches! This is perfect for people who live in condos or apartments, or where you cannot leave soap on the street. From the flyer, "This fluffy foam gently loosens, lifts, encapsulates, and releases contaminants, deep cleaning your paint while avoiding wash-induced scratches." RSVP registration is open to members and non-members of the Cadillac V-Club who are owners of a Cadillac V-Series vehicle.

As he was talking with the driver of a car he had stopped for speeding, the suspect car came up from behind him, struck his cruiser, and then him as he stood beside the speeder's car.
Six months later, a car found abandoned on a street in Fort Worth led police to the 44-year-old owner, who was arrested after an investigation revealed that damage to his car matched the paint and parts from the car that fled from the accident scene. He was convicted of failing to stop and render aid and sentenced to two years.

ABOUT SEBRING RACEWAY PARK Sebring is renowned for its rough surface. The course still runs on old sections of World War II-era landing fields that were constructed of concrete sections with large seams. The transitions between sections are quite rough and often, sparks fly from the undercarriages of the cars as they traverse them. Much of the track has intentionally been left with its original concrete runway surface. The track surface has 3.04 miles (4.89 km) of asphalt and 0.7 miles (1.1 km) of concrete. Mario Andretti, a 3-time 12 Hours winner, said that one of the hardest parts about the original Sebring track was finding the track to begin with! There had been many accounts of drivers retiring due to accidents at night, quite simply because they got lost on the runway sections and couldn't find the track again. Some drivers got lost even during the day, mostly because the track was poorly marked down with white lines and cones.

ABOUT CITY BBQ CATERING
Serving and creating happiness is at the heart of who we are, and the flavor of America is what we're proud to serve. Every day, we’re smoking tastes of the nation, from Kansas City to the Carolinas; taking care of our friends and neighbors; and sharing our passion for the art and soul of BBQ.
When we opened the first City Barbeque in 1999, we thought we wanted to serve folks the best barbeque they’d ever had—but it didn’t take long for us to realize we wanted to serve more than just great food. Today, our goal is to serve and create happiness, and we look forward to doing just that for folks across the country for years to come.
