The Board of Directors has selected 3 year member Dustin Mohan as the Director of the DFW Chapter.  As a long term V-series owner (Dustin owned a V1 CTS-V, V2 CTS-V and now owns a V3 ATS-V) combined with the fact he is very active within the V-Club, Dustin is a perfect choice for his new leadership position. The DFW Chapter has experienced rapid growth as the result of previous outstanding Chapter Directors, Trey Krause and most recently Sean O'Rourke. Dustin is excited about the opportunity to serve.

Dustin commented, "As all of you know, the V-series a passion of mine and one of the reasons that I feel that this is the right time to take on the responsibility of helping to grow the Cadillac V-Performance brand and the club in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  I have also been fortunate enough to form lifelong friendships as a direct result of my involvement in the V Club and take that very seriously enough to want to take on a leadership role."

Sewell Cadillac of Dallas hosted our monthly meeting for October where 75 members of the DFW Chapter received an surprise visit from 4 time Pirelli World Challenge Series champion Johnny O'Connell.   Johnny was also joined by Paulina Haan from the Cadillac V-Series Marketing team in New York and  Mirza Grebovic from the V-Series Engineering team in Detroit.  These Cadillac representatives provided an overview of the V-Series platform and communicated Cadillac's commitment to the V and the V-Club.

The V-Club is fully committed to its partnership with Cadillac and 2017 will bring some exciting new benefits to our members.   We sincerely appreciate the endorsement and support from Cadillac and are proud to represent and promote the "V-Team".

V-Club President Mike Franks also delivered a short presentation on the "first four years" of the club highlighting some of our key milestones and the demographics of the membership.  Mike also showed a "PDR" video of his recent "on-track" experience at the V-Performance Academy held at Spring Mountain Motorsports Resort in Pahrump, Nevada.  Mike drove both a 2017 ATS-V and CTS-V and said it was experience that was "bucket list worthy" for everyone to consider attending.

Sewell Cadillac provided excellent hospitality which included breakfast from catered by Eatsy's restaurant.  Be sure to checkout the DFW Chapter photo gallery to view some photos from the event.

Thank you all for the record turnout at our January event held at Dave and Buster's - over 70 people attended with a grand total of 39 V's adorning the parking lot!  It was a fantastic venue for us with great hospitality, great food, and great people!  We will definitely be back to D&B much sooner than later.  Make sure and take a look at the photos that have been added to the site as well.  Stay tuned for move events to come - it's going to be a great year!!

Sean O'Rourke has accepted his nomination as Director of the DFW Chapter. Sean replaces Trey Krause who recently resigned from the V-Club after the sale of his CTS-V Coupe and subsequent purchase of a new C7 Corvette.  Trey was instrumental in the growth of the DFW Chapter over the last 3 years and he will certainly be missed.

Sean and his wife Philana reside in Highland Village, Texas.  Sean owns a CTS-V Coupe which has been upgraded by 21st Century Muscle Cars.  Sean will be scheduling activities and events for the DFW Chapter and already has Dave and Busters booked for the first event in 2016.
